Last weeks light and clouds were amazing and it was a joy to be out on the moors each evening in a t shirt. This is a classic shot of Higger tor with V 1 under a cloud, i couldn't decide which one to upload, i have no preference and like both shots but it doesn't justify a seperate upload so you choose !

Two staggeringly beautiful compositions, although image two is very good, I feel that image one has a more dramatic and moody appeal.

Can see your dilemma, Trevor. I like the dark cloud at the top of the image in v1, but the main feature is the Tor which is beautifully lit in v2.

V1 was has superior depth because of the dark cloud over the Torr.
Lovely image.

Thanks for your positive comments everyone especially Colleen who has made me blush for the first time in many years. There is no winner or loser on this one, each pic serves a purpose, the dramatic moody shot of V1 or the picture postcard of V2. Interesting exercise though and it's always great to get your thoughts and ideas.
