I was lucky the sheep kept still that long but maybe ewes had lots of practice !
A superb landscape shot,
Your Ewe is in the perfect spot.
Pretty FG which leads the eye in but the sheep is what really holds the image together and adds loads of character. It's nicely framed by the brighter sky too, making it more obvious in the frame.

A perfect landscape, and so pretty...well captured
A well trained sheep, Trevor. There was an artist who did moorland scenes on the North Yorkshire Moors and his trademark was the sheep as well
Thanks for your kind comments everyone and welcome back Alan i thought it had been quiet !. Regarding my flock of posers Dave i think by using sheep or people in the right place can make an ordinary shot more interesting and they don't have to be in front of the camera smiling either, although i have had my eye on some cows for some possible close ups !!.
A most impressive composition, there is both detail and interest straight from the off. The beautiful colour in the heather has me hooked before taking me gently across the flat flags of stone before allowing me to rest momentarily alongside the sheep. Then I am taken beautifully into the the undulating hillside and into the rather moody and quite dramatic overhanging skies. "Superb"
