Thanks for your comments everyone, i think it's the first time i've used sheep as a subject Dave, i'm glad it decided to keep still because the shutter speed was so slow.

Gorgeous backlit subject there (you know highlanders and their love of sheep Wink ). Lovely depth from the folds of land. Can't quite decide if the orange sky distracts from the subject or not, it is a lovely colour after all.

See what you mean Alan, it looks more like a portrait when the sky is cropped and a portrait within a landscape when the sky is included.
