This was taken on the way down from Ringing Roger ( one of the hills that surrounds Edale ) yes down !!.
I had set off from the car park in darkness and struggled with gale force winds and was on the tops 20mins before sunrise but thick cloud and watery eyes forced me down below the cloud just in time to capture this shot.
It was my first time on Ringing Roger but i couldn't find the iconic rocks i had seen on google............. or maybe i wasn't on Ringing Roger ............it was dark.......... and foggy.......so i've uploaded some variants taken on what i think was Ringing Roger...!!
