This breaks the rules re: lens flare but I love it. Great shot.

Thanks Glyn and Fred glad you like it. Regarding the flare, it is there to give impact and drama to the image, i resisted cloning and complying with the rule book as it forms a convenient triangle pointing to the highlighted grass up to shelter along horizon and back to the sun.
Lens flare is a valid compositional tool and well used here, Trevor.
Thanks Dave for your positive comment, i would just like to add my thought process on setting up the shot i was obviously unaware of the impact the flare and highlighted grass would have on the image. My original lead in was the dark green path, keeping the sun to the right, it was only on closer inspection at home that i decided to keep the flare option, as this worked better.
In my opinion - which is often wrong - I think when you have such a lovely photo, you can afford to throw the rule book out the window.
