These are a selection of shots taken yesterday at Bempton Cliffs with my new Tamron 150- 600.
Please note...... They have not been cropped so you see the full image, what i saw through the viewfinder and only light processing, haven't got the time.
It is a fantastic lens easy to use zoom, manual focus and stabilisation works well and more importantly its sharp !!.......Last time i went to Bempton i used my Nikon 70-300 and wafted it around and only had half the pics sharp. With this in mind while waiting for the Tamron i bought the Gitzo GM3551 monopod off ebay and yesterday had 90% of images pin sharp........
I am not a bird tog but would like to be, so can't compare it to other 600mm lenses, maybe the expensive lenses focus quicker but this lens focuses fast enough for me and my D800. Its as bright through the viewfinder as my Nikon 70-300 Lens and reproduces colour without a cast...........so whats the downside to this lens ?
All images were taken using 800 iso, most at F8
