There was no room at the first gate nearest Mam Tor on an early misty Saturday morning, so i carried on walking.....
I like both of these pics for different reasons but if you have a favourite then please let me know.

It must be getting like Blackpool front up there on a weekend.

I admire your determination to get an image and walk on further. Version 1 works for me. There is a sense of space to the right of the image, the path takes the eye through the gate and onto the distant hill. You have captured the light really well and there is a delicate softness to the image.

Thanks everyone for your valued comments. It certainly feels as though you're part of the paparazzi Gavin waiting for the sun god to appear at the first gate, I tend to click and move cos you never know what's round the corner or over the next hill !
