This takes me back over 40 years, to Saturday afternoon walks there with my family, and cream teas at the Saddle Room (now long closed) in Hartington. The white water feels like the years rushing past me...

Yeah, time is definitely speeding up John, i must admit that it's been along time since i was there with my family...................... After a good walk our treat was to sample the cheeses at the Hartington cheese shop, my favourite being the Hartington Blue Stilton...mmmmmmm..........i think that shops closed too.
