As suggested by several people have tried a different crop. Please tell me which you prefer. I think I prefer this one.

Some digital manipulation as the sky's exactly the same as the last picture, but the aircraft has been rotated. Did the first picture have an original sky?

Nice shot, the blues & white of the plane and sky are very complementary.

And it's a monster, isn't it?! I work right under the flight path into Heathrow, can't belive I missed it - although I'm sure it'll become a very familiar sight...

A new sky was added in both shots as it had just stopped raining and the original sky was very bland and grey. The pilot made it very easy for us as he went round 3 times very low and slow.

Yes it's that little bit of space around the wing tip that makes this the better of the two.

The other one is more dynamic composition wise but a bit too close st one edge. This one sits better in the frame in that respect.
