The Town Hall and The Cenotaph

The Town Hall and The CenotaphExcellent idea Diane, works well to.
I really like the bold silhouette of the monument
I think cloning out the rope and a crop to eliminate the light part of the monument would make it special. Just my thoughts. Smile

A self portrait

A self portraitYes, looks good to me too.

I know nothing about portraits, I do like your pose and the lighting.

The white lines visible along the edge of your left shoulder and face (as viewed) could be removed via the clone tool and with some assistance from maybe the magnetic lasso tool, to control the cloning.

Not sure what type of painted effect you’re after, there are lots of tutorials on the net. Also one of the Topaz filters may give you what you want.

Love

LoveLovely conversion to mono Tracii.
A moment of love capture most definitely.
The shallow dof works well too.

A little extra work on cloning out the pole and levelling the horizon would make a very special image indeed

Orange glow

Orange glowYou’ve captured some lovely faded gold with these poppies Jeff.
If you remove the sharpening from the bg all that noise would go too.
See mod.

Thanks for the play. Smile
