Many thanks for the response to my last upload “Holy Trinity, York”. I really do appreciate the votes and kind comments I receive.

An autumn’s micro pause captured, from the usual Hurly Burly, in this popular area in front of the west end of York Minster.

Taken while waiting for other ePz’s to arrive for the informal York meet on the 24th Nov.

Excellent composition, David, showing the Minster's proximity to everyday life situations without: I'm amazed that you managed to capture this shot without the area being clogged up with tourists.
Beautifully exposed, captured in fine detail and all the verticals precisely that......very well done.
Ronnie.

Just how much earlier were you, David? And where is everybody? I've never seen it so deserted! A lovely capture, different to the usual shots of the front of the Minster - love the arrangement of leaves in the foreground, must have taken you some time to get them so nicely arranged! Wink Excellent detail and processing, too Smile

A most attractive composition, Dave; the stone of the Minster looks particularly appealing.

Great composition, vertical verticals, no tourists, wonderful positioning of the leaves, and the red providing a powerful counterpoint. You used your waiting time excellently, David.

Very cleverly worked image. When I commented initially I didn't realise how you had used Simplify.
