I never get tired of looking at this building or taking pictures of it. It comes from a time when there was real style in architecture. The building is about 2 blocks from where I work. I see it every day and still I find myself even taking out my cell phone to grab a shot of it.

Thanks for stopping by!

Great shot of a fantastic building. Where in NY is this located? The map link associated with your shot puts it on Liberty Island?
This is a very nice capture.

My Grandpa used to speak of this building, and took me there at least once, porbably more often-- a spectacular building even now--- you have an enviable view!

Hi Ty,
A building with true class, nice work.
We did have a Woolworths in my town (Cannock Staffordshire UK) but now its a £ store, Woolworths might not have been a upmarket store but they did have style, cheap but style.
Regards

It is a stunning piece of architecture. There just isn't the money to build 'em like this any more.

Very well shot too, Ty. I was going to suggest straightening it, but I kinda like that bit of a slant.

Are Woolies still going over there then? They went bust in Britain.
