I like this although I think it maybe a bit too dark on some areas, but the tone is spot on.

Now for me it's not too dark. The subject matter really suits this treatment, and it's excellent treatment, it makes it stand out from the "usual" sport shot. To me, you can sense the movement and the excitement of the game. It's full of energy and grittiness. Yeah, it works for me....

Thanks Tony,

I was going for the hard gritty effect. As I said, its probably wasted being up here but I like it Smile Its a hard hitting game and not easy to get a photo showing that side of it without the ball being covered or something messing it up Smile

Im going to play with some more this week and put them up for fun...

I don't find it too dark. The toning works well.

High impact shot Tommy. The toning suits the image. I'm surprised this has had so little attention.

I think the issue with images like this being posted on ephoto is that they are different, and people tend to prefer clicking pretty flowers or half naked woman...

Yip Smile

I like half naked woman too...

Im used to any American Football pics getting little attention, same with a lot of the rugby and cycle pics... get nothing unless they get an HC or EC then the crowd comes in for a look..

Each to thier own Smile Wont stop me putting them up though when I want too.

Tommy makes me proud to see you guys embracing a sport which i love! we live very close to Westpoint where the Army Black Knights play and we've been to a few games as well as pro games for the N.Y. Giants with my inlaws being season ticket holders! great capture and love it in b&w!
