Following on from the portrait aspect one I took of this famous landmark in Glencoe, I thought I would post my take on the more traditional view of this place.
I tried to get both mountins in rather than just the cottage and the Buachaille Etive Mor, to give it more perspective.
All the best for the 1st weekend in 2007, happy snapping.
love the large version
I like this one too. Another really well processed HDR!
Very nice perspective!~
it seems everybody is doing HDR at the moment Tommy, but nobody does the landscapes as good as you ...yet. This is just superb and definately one of my favourites of your work.
Oh yes large is stunning, nice one.
P.S Pls tell me what on earth HDR means,
( yes I am thick )
Excellent image again Tommy.Large version is a must.
what a fabulous pic, love the HDR effect, seems it is the in thing, must learn it...jojo
Excellent shot full of colour and detail.
This is a super image. I don't know what HDR is, either, so I must be some sort of dinosaur.
Another great photo of this iconic setting.
Excellent shot and colours. One of the best photos here...!!!
The blend has softened everything beautifully. An excellent piece of work.
really great shot Tommy - glad someone else asked what HDR was cos I have no idea and thought it was something I was being dense not understanding!! lol
agree with Maddie...........
Great shot, Tommy!
Well done with that HDR thingy ; )
Amazing image Tommy, one of the very best. Superb work.
Nice composition and great sky. Not sure I like this HDR stuff though... doesn't look "real" for some reason! Sorry!
well worth the R.C. Ug
Love the composition of this shot Tommy, I'm not a great lover of HDR but you got it right this time for me anyway. The sky looks real in this one. Bonnie shot Sir.
All the very best

Looks absolutly stunning large
So impressive !
Fantastic image. I'm struggling to find something I don't like, but I can't!
Thanks everyone for your comments.
HDR or High dynamic range imaging, is a process that involves bracketed images over a wide range and processing them through software to give you more ability to play with the photo.
Google HDR and there some good info on it. Wikepedia has some good info on it also.
This photo was done with 5 bracketed images put through and with a few tweeks Ive been working on.. got to have some secrets...
Its a process that suits some photos better than others and can be used in different ways to give very different results. I suppose some may frown on it others love it. Im in the camp that enjoys it and sees it no different to tricks used in wet work or filters stuck on the front of the lens.
Take care all and happy snapping..
Congracts on the HC xx
I have to admit that I'm not too keen on HDR, but I didn't realise that this had been processed that way......this is so natural looking. Lovely work.
A beautiful shot Tommy and well deserving of the HC. You've been knocking out some high quality shots of late.
Superb treatment of this subject.
Superb viewed large. A wonderful image with loads of interest and detail.
