Been very quiet for the last week or so, hardly took a shot but then the other night on solstice I stayed up all night and went out before sunrise..

Something I've planning to try for ages but never managed Smile I'm not a sunrise type of person, so this was a venture for me ! Had the location in mind but had never took ant real shots from it so was a bit of a risk..

The results you will most likely see on here over the next few days Smile

All I can say was, what a morning.. Mist and then scenes from The Fog movie... With the sunrise just blowing me away...

Im in the middle of a fog bank at the time, thus the whacked out colors. Everything was very unreal.. All I needed where a Druid and a circle Smile

All the Best, Tommy

Congratulations on the sunrise! I am the same, if I want to see a sunrise I have to stay up all night! I hope this is the first of many.

Great shot - well worth all that effort.
You could live a life and not be present at something so special.
Captured beautifully.

Magical, eerie early morning on the Solstice, a special day for old religions and lovers of the Sun and it's cycles. Great colour and tones, nice composition and the swirling mist is a bonus I'm sure you never imagined. Wonderful image my friend, dedication to the cause.
