Yip. I gone and done it. I had to go get that tree and big rock photo Smile

My take, on what was pretty dire light of the old shot so many of us have taken in the droves.

I have now officially left my tripod marks on this landmark of photography Smile

Sharon and John have both put there ones up of this spot, now its my turn...

Really was looking for this spot but wasnt 100% sure where it was, so decided to go down the Glen Etive valley and thought Hmmm I bet this is the spot.. and I was right lol

Oh boy, i really like with with the exposure & the dusting of snow on the peak against the dark grey skies. This for me is a front cover for a photography mag & can imagine the letting on the top & down the side lol. Fantastic.

A wee bit heavy on the orange fairie dust Tommy, and what is this Glen Etive valley? Pushing your luck I think Pal.

LOL a Glen with valleys :-P I fell down a valley part of it. I know my lakes from lochs Wink

Anyway we should be using the Gaelic for it or which I think is gleann or glenn in older times. Wink

I hope you realise just how good this shot is...?

This is perhaps the best Autumn/Winter image I've seen of this spot.
