So very difficult the balance of light,,
yet achieved with quite an unassuming air..
a highly commendable job.. and very beautiful.

Thanks. It's one of those photos where I know I could push it more for impact but I want to keep it real. Your right is hard to balance in that respect. After all the human eye can't pull that detail out. It's the camera doing the work in the end.

and still you were there at the time of your choice.. you had the freedom to manipulate it, which you didnt.. you certainly pass a certain aesthetic criterion, which is closer to mine.. i pass it as the most pleasing landscape image i saw in many days.. there's no doubt about it.. and in fact i had shortlisted it for my award, which comes once a week.. if i am unable to land it there, its a award right away,, i find it unique and never before seen image..
