Another one from yesterday. Following up on the colour version a BW as requested
Taken on Queen Street Glasgow.
Have a good weekend and if you have time best viewed Large...
Now that really is hard to choose between the two Tommy, love this one for the gritty feel, excellent toning and contrasts.
great mono tones. well done
Really like this version more
This has so much more impact!!!
This is fantastic.
Even better in Black and white!! Great stuff
Has great impact in mono. Fine work.
I think this works even better with the toning you have applied.
Truly stunning social portrait,
Better in B & W. Where was it taken - Royal Exchange Square?
It's a hard choice, i think i prefer it in b/w although its a stunning shot in either
Just as Brill !!!
Yip the square... on the stairs.
super work Tommy
Even better in b&w. It's like a timeless print....(no, not quite...the plastic bottle gives it away and for the keen eye, the Rangers' scarf I suppose !) Very good.
Wonderfully clear, so full of character
Great picture full of character well done
Brilliant Tommy, works better that the colour and that was good.Great.
I like them both, but this is my favourite Tommy. Very effective processing.
i like both but possibly i like this version best
nothing to critisise, this is excellent work.
Absolute quality,well done.
Superb texture and detail Tommy. So much better in BW IMO. Congrats on the EC.
really like this. I prefer this version to the coloured one as I think that it has more impact (although saying that I think the colour one is great as well!)
I would even put this on my wall, which is a hard level to pass! lol
Thanks for all your time and comments... and thanks too Pete for the EC...
Now off out to play with the camera
congrats on the EC well deserved
yea , its a super study and simple setting
Thats a cracker Tommy.
Congrats on your EC
Amazing work Tommy, a well deserved EC.
Wonderful toning and this is my favorite of the two. Well donr getting an EC.
Absolute blinder, Tommy. Prefer the mono version by far. Would love to know how you are getting that effect. Is it just a lot of dodging/burning/selective sharpening?
No surprise to scroll down and see this had an EC, a stunning mono shot. The depth of texture and tone is outstanding.
Great work Tommy and congrats on the EC.
..truly fabulous!... top work!.. congrats`!

This works so well in B&W I prefer it to the coloured version and the composition is bang on.
Outstanding, characterful capture. Well done.
Well done Tommy - superb image.
This looks like a classical etching - very impressive!
What a truly superb candid, richly deserves the EC Tommy. Its full of interest both in the old man and the detail in the stonework. You will have a job on your hands topping this one!!
Excellent quality shot.
Great shot. Others are good but this is fantastic. Love your style.
Nicely done Tommy, prefer this version to the colour too. Congrats on your EC.

I Excellent tetures and super sense of place.
