Usually I dont go for the footstep type of shot, bit cliche but this time as Ive never seen this lochin so frozen to be able to walk on it.. and even get to that tree..
All the best, Tommy
But then, it's you!
All the best!
A lovely set of images of a special place
Beautiful scene , wonderful golden light and perfectly captured sunburst. I like the footprints regardless of the cliche.
Nice one tommy is that your feet or mine? or one of the other 5 tracks that were leading to the frozen waterside on sunday? well worth the click
The light onthe snow is a delight.
LOL wasnt my steps at that time, I still didnt trust the ice with my pack on my back
Took me a while to make sure it was strong enough to avoid death going through the ice. I honestly urge people to be very carefull out there and watch for ice not being strong enough to hold you.....
Aye it was a bit of step and pray walking on it
Beautiful! I think I'd crop out most of the sky — it's maybe one element to many and doesn't really go with the peaceful ground — but that's just a personal preference.
Great detail and love the golden glow on the snow from the sun. Romney
Beautiful image - wonderful light and tones captured
Follow me home would be a great title for this too.
Great image as always, Tommy
Brill pic were was it taken
