Another one from my sunrise trip on the solstice
All the Best, Tommy
aye, the nights are drawing in now, it'll soon be Christmas....
Lovely shot Tommy
this one leaps of the page, the light in the sky and the distant mist is lovely.
Lovely shot and colours.
Wonderful comp and colour Tommy.
wow great shot nice colours and perfect focus
Really nice image..........
Stunning image, great comp and colours
Amazing colour, good composition and nice bit of mist on the water.
Wow! I love this Tommy. The f/g adds greatly to the image.
A wonderful followup to the last image Tommy, as the light gathers strength the clarity gets better and the colours change slightly. Fine big deep composition in this one, with the grasses and reeds adding there extra colour.
One absolutely gorgeous image.
Mornings should become your new thing! Set that alarm!
wish every morning looked like this...magnificent shot
Thanks peeps and Dawn for your award, which I value
I must admit, this was a rushed affair.. I was trying hard to get a spot with some FG interest and clear to the sunrise. I couldnt rush too much as well I didnt have my waterproofs on (silly mistake) and boots either (another silly mistake). The water was only open at spots people had been using for fishing and I had to do the best in the little time I had (the light was changing very fast and the mist was forming and clearing as fast too) So I did my best and learned a little more the not to dos for the future...
Lessons Learned... Dew is wet.
Water can be deep, even a few feet off the side (Tripod in the water showed this lol, it went right in the mud and kept going)..
And most of all scout the area better before hand..
That's beautiful Tommy, I see your getting the hang of this photography lark , Adrian
Wonderful image Tommy great foreground and sky.
A cracking good shot! Lovely composition. I like the grass in the foreground.
