This was a winters day with the ground frozen solid. The sun was blinding and I decided to try and see if this photo would work the way I wanted it too. Hope you enjoy.
As someone said, this one is best viewed large...
Cracking shot good use of shadows and well composed.
Yeah-well good use of mono-great composition.
Lovley pic, very haunting x
Really like this, it is a very good "contra jour"
dramatic shot. click.
Nice long shadows - works well.
Like it, effective in b&w.
A very understated shot is this, and really needs to be viewed large. You've managed to catch the nicely silhouetted trees and bright sun whilst retaining a lot of detail in the foreground. Nice one .... Dave.
Nice use of silhouette and shadow.
Excellent lighting and lines in the image.
Very nice work
Hope it worked the way you wanted, works for me for sure.
Thanks for your compliments, I liked the way it worked. It was a funny day actualy and I learned a hard lesson that day. Check your battery is charged before you walk miles and then find out you got about 5 shots left in it
needless to say i went out and invested in a spare after than..
Gorgeous, an absolute classic!
Love the shadow lines leading the eye. Excellent shot - especially the large version!
Great image really like that
Another cracker Tommy - taking a leaf out of Bill's book maybee and doing it very nicely. Looks great at full size. Assume we will see this in print later in the year?
Lovely quality to this image, great balance between foreground and the trees, I like this a lot, nice shot well executed.
