Is that really a roadrunner! I've only ever seen the cartoon, and it looks nothing like this. Grin How lovely. It looks rather like a starling on steroids.

This one's obviously on the lookout for Wily.

Fantastic detail you've caught here, Sandy, and I love the processing and presentation.

Lovely to see such a close-up of one. We see them often crossing the roads in our area. Love their little "quick step".

The image quality and clarity are very good. Why so much blue tone though? Was it intentional?

I hope so, Willie - looks terrific.
Brought a certain beauty to what we usually see as a quite drab and dusty bird.

Love it, Sandy.

I thought they were a cartoon joke until I saw one in Arizona. Boy do they run fast, very much in the style of a Starling on Steroids!

A cleverly processed image that brings out the best in this wonderful character.

I would never in a million years be able to associate the cartoon character with this bird. Thanks for enlightening us. Look like it has lightning bolt coming out of its backside. Is that why it is so fast? Grin
