very beautiful .. she has a real dreamy look, excellent work ..
the one thing I dont like is the white writting on this, it distracts from the feeling of the work .. just my thoughts SmileP

Beautful serene feeling about it. However, I agree with Patricia, would it not have been possible to place the title on the frame instead of in the picture?

George.

Thanks Ed,
I agree, what was I thinking ruining this picture just to satisfy my own ego, many apoligies for putting my name on this photo, rest assured that it wont happen again. Thanks for all the nice comments,
Just returned from my first photo job, so you might see something other than my family if they come out all right. then again you might not, he he

Many thanks Dewey, it just proves that Ed is not the purist I once thought, and its the final image and not how you got there that counts. YIPEE

Anne what can I say, I should never have doubted you, hold on a mo, I nevert did, many thanks to all of you who look up to me(really only kidding), It certainly is a buzz when you see your photo in the EC section, funny thing though, today i went and did my first photo session at someone's house, 3 kids 120 photo's 8 hours on the pc trying dearly to get at least one sellable picture, but I am just not happy with the results, and only one pic out of focus, just too damn ugly I guess. I can only do so much with software, what do I tell the mum, No I am only kidding really there was at least 3 out of focus.

sorry for the twisted humour, but thats the kinda guy I am. cheers you lot your a blast, I mean that in a nice way...

Change the shots into a venture style - can be a workaround for out of focus images, if they go for it that is. A long shot, but...

Steven, That is probally the best advice that I could be given, and they do have 4 venture portraits of the kids on the wall already which they paid 400 for (ouch) not even a4 and plastic frames, there are all in focus bar maybe one or two, and she did say that she would leave it up to me what style, just said like soft focus and black & white.
think I will give that a try, cheers Steven

Lovely diffused lighting. Great portrait.

Beautiful shot, so well done.

Hi Tony!

I was going to suggest take pictures of only good looking kids.........

Thanks for the bail out Steven, since I primarily shoot nature/astronomical photos, I didn't have a clue.

Nice one Tony!

Just the border and text ruin it. Makes it look like a high street makeover shot...which it quite obviously isn't!

Only just found this - its gorgeous - I love the softness of it and she is so pretty

Thank you Rog, I have been to one of Peter Lik's galleries in Cairns, you feel like you can walk straight in to his photo's, mind you they rather large.
