Could the monument be more to the right to lessen the barren sky and gain more interesting sky on the left? Likely there was something that limits adding left side. Good image though. TG

Not sure if i could have fixed that. The sky was quite uninteresting until i added some filtering to it. Also it was quite early in the morning when i took the photo so it was also a little "misty". Might try it with a more active sky another time. Thanks.

Oops just noticed a sensor blemish. Will have to fix that Smile

A great image, which works well in monochrome, Tony's points are certainly valid, but all to often we simply forget the basics, and get to overwhelmed with the moment of trying to capture or image.
