Practice with a Zoom time(Cheers Tony)....Not my first attempt to capture a bird in my back garden!!!!....This fella was the only one brave enough to come close enough...Any thoughts/comments/tips appreciated.

getting close is the main problem i find with this birdy stuff... thats why i can only ever catch Robins!... Wink

Nice one mate, 200mm is a touch short for birds, especially moving ones. All the decent shots on here seem to be 300-500mm monster lense$$$.

Still a good shot, how about shooting from a lower angle, maybe need a remote and a bean bag. Worm in the mouth would be good.
