I am a complete novice and need some help choosing a camera. I have a Fuji S7000 which I've had for about 10 years and enjoyed using it - even sometimes using more than just the Auto mode. We are off on holiday soon to Nepal so want a decent, versatile camera. I've been looking at a Fuji Xs1, a Panasonic Lumix FZ150 and, slightly off track, a Nikon D3200.

I want something fairly straightforward and user-friendly but will also give me some scope to be creative. I also like using the viewfinder rather than the screen (hence the Fuji) and a decent zoom.

I've been to Jessops a couple of times and found the advice a bit confusing and perhaps a little biased so I would some objective advice.

Sorry - I should have put this in one of the Forums rather than the blog - done now.
