Love their wonderful slightly crumpled, newly opened texture and glorious colours. Don't have this beautiful variety but those within my garden have had a really hard time this year between the awful winter and then the gales more recently. Fingers crossed they make it!

Thanks Carol, Ann and Brian. This is a particularly brilliant colour Ann but I like the white as well. I was pleased to see the buds appear as the shrub was quite badly damaged by the frost this year. Hope yours will be alright too.

These are lovely, so delicate and crumply, with that beautiful centre with the red spots.
