This was taken through my window on a dark day so a lot of detail has been lost but it is so cute I thought it was worth sharing. Mother woodpecker worked so hard feeding her chick while he just sat in the feeder tray!

Thank you Mark. I am fortunate enough to live right next to a woodland, in fact our garden gate opens directly into it. So all the woodland birds come to the feeder including the nuthatch which is always nice to see.

LOL.....the chick was perfectly able to feed himself, I saw him and he was almost as big as mum anyway! Thanks Leo.
