not sure about the outer border it takes over IMO from the beautiful flowers and that part of the image is commendableSmile

I like this very much, Val, a little different from other flower shots, and the border is fine with me, but I am not sure what the ice-like area is at the bottom, and feel it detracts from an otherwise super image. Is it a reflection from a window on your table?

No what it is Pamela is a shallow glass dish in the shape of a square into which I put some water and the cut flowers for a table decoration. The edges of the dish form the border and the bottom edge has caught the light from a window. I kept the reflection because it looks like ice but I could easily have cloned it out I suppose. I just thought it looked a bit different LOL. I'm very pleased you like the rest of the image though. With the next image I will crop out the edges and see what it looks like.
