I really enjoy just watching the antics of these wee squirrels never mind photographing them so I hope you'll enjoy viewing this. This and the last image are part of a small group of wild squirrels which haven't had their habitat invaded by the greys. Hopefully this will continue.

Everyone, thank you so much for your user awards, comments and votes on my last image. It was much appreciated.

As usual, any critique welcome.

Delightful shot. As you've asked for critique all I would say is the bottom of the photo could have been cropped more to cut out some the out of focus tree. Other than that it's a shot I would loved to have taken.

Thanks everyone for your comments, votes and to Neil's user award. Also thank to Dave J (Rev 2) for your critique. I really appreciate it. With regards to the composition, I was tempted to crop some of the branch off the bottom, but then it would have made the squirrel too central in the frame, so I opted to leave it as I took it to try and keep the squirrel's eyes more in the rule of thirds.

Thanks very much to Alan_Baseley for your user award. I am really very appreciative of your award and the attention this shot and the last one has been given. I'll have to get back out to the wood and try and get some more shots. It is a great pleasure to watch these wee animals.
