I took this in the same area as the others. I think it is some sort of puffball.
Technical details: Exposure 1.3sec @ f/22, aperature priority, ISO 200, manual focus, silver reflector tripod and remote release.

This is a fine example of a puff ball Valerie.
I believe you can eat them while young ( puff balls that is )
I once long ago picked some took them home and sliced them and fried them in delicious bacon fat . My husband watched , facinated and at the last minute chucked them in the waste bin as he said he wasn't sure if they were poisonous or not . Ha ha , he must have loved me . xx
