Thanks to everyone who viewed and commented on my last uploads!
This photo was taken during the autumn fishing. I was catching of pikes, moving along the shore of the river Khoper, when the family of otters suddenly came to me and started to ask a fish, whistling softly. I wanted to take their photo, but they did not want to pose. They simply took fish that I gave them, and escaped... So I was forced to confine myself to this landscape...

How can they be so uncooperative!
your beautiful riverside shot reminds me very much a lot of an oil painting my grandfather had made. Believe it or not he had painted on the back of an asbestos insulation sheet.. a beautiful scene like that with great skill. So one day the painting broke... How strangely this reflects my memories, the late light and my musings why the landscape in our low country of channels was so different from the fishing spots in his memories.
