Well, wish me luck, off camping in Exmoor tomorrow..putting up a tent in a thunderstorm by the looks of it!!
Has been a year of jubilee's , Olympics, world cups, blimey lots going on and only 8 months in!!
As I said, I'll not be on here posting very much twixt now & December, was just trawling & deleting through my photos & stumbled on this one..I prefer it colour popped, but as I done this one of my niece for my sis in law, she wanted it in just a simple black & white vignette....and here it is..my niece awaiting the olympic torch to come through our village. !
Anyway...have a great week, and think of me sheltering under the stars...that will be conveniently hidden under thunderclouds.

Super image, really works well as a mono, lets hope the thunderstorms don't arrive or at least bypass us , Have a great week.

Thankyou folks, car nearly packed, ..dry here at the moment....going the wrong day methinks.
Still, I;ve copied "Homer" & should ther ebe thunder & lightning, I have a good solid metal framed umbrella & a nice corrugated iron sheet to put over the tent to protect us from the worst of it

I too prefer the colour popped one - but it is still one for family album - I wish for you and your family a wonderful week full of fun, joy and lots n lots of sunshine ... don't forget to tie the corrugated sheet firmly to the roof rack, don't wont to lose it do you

Nice one Gareth! corrugated Iron hope you don't get hale stones! better take ear plugs just in case! lol. Hardy lot up your way give me a hotel any day, have a great time, we have had a few thunder storms the last few days,got your camera mate! have a good one, regards Leon. smiles all the way.
tis absolutely crashing down...and thats before we pack the rest of the car ..yikes. might have a kip in the back when we get there so Lorna can put up the tent with Callum
