wierdly flat, yet has depth... strange, but appealing, this is a positive comment...cannot quite explain my reaction to this.. if it holds my attention this long then it has to be an interesting image...

Yep, agree wit Dianna. A little flat but great viewpoint and lines. Paul
Interesting comments about it looking a bit flat, gonna have to go away and have a bit of a think about that I reckon. Have to admit it is quite heavily processed, maybe I went a bit far somewhere?
no, it is not totally flat, it is 'strangely' flat yet has depth.... especially with the yellow/gold bit on the RHS. I really like it...
I love the colors and the composition but dont particularly like the line sin the galss they blovk the people and to me act as a barrier. But what apain it would be to remove them
Im for it
Like the shot but think I may have stepped a little closer to the barrier(glass) as the interest in front of and below is more appealing than the glass.. Lots of nice tones!
Striking image. Lots of interesting detail and a good range of tones.
Good point about moving nearer the barrier.
brilliant control of the light - skillfully done
