The late evening sun briefly lights up the hills surrounding Watendlath Tarn. This was in September and it looked good must be spectacular now.

Have to view the large version to fully appreciate the light on the fells. Good use of the track as a lead in too.

Nicely balanced composition Chris...the road winding round the waters edge leads the eye into the sunlit colours and the contrasting building features well.
