Carrying on up the road and ignoring the much photographed Ashness bridge you come to a most beautiful Tarn at Watendlath, this was taken on the best evening of my holiday I'd just done a good walk across the fells and the sun came out at the end of the day.

Very nice Chris, interesting place and good composition. It looks just a tad soft to me. I ran USM at 78%,0.8,1 and it really brings out the detail, also I increased the saturation a tad...but then I would, wouldn't I.
Chris
Hello Chris, this is a fine setting with good distant detail on the mountains...depth colour and clarity compliment the light shadow composition.
Doug.
