This is a brilliant picture Victor, one of my favs. The derelict and deserted scene creates a sad image of a seaside town in the winter. I love the sign! A jug of tea! Never have I seen that before, and being such a teahead I would have remembered! The overgrown pavement and fence supports on the left imply that its possibly closed up for good. I'd be interested to know when this was taken. The pale sky adds to the overall depressing quality to this, although I might have liked a bit more colour/interest in the sky. Overall one of my photos of the week! Do you have any more like this?

Thanks Tony,
I think I took the photograph about 3 years ago,so I used my E500 not the E510.
I have recently been back and glad to say things are on the way up!
I agree about the sky,I may drop a new one in.
Cheers.
Victor.

Hi Victor, I am awarding your picture 'Morcambe' with my very prestigious and much sought after 'Top Award' which is my weekly award for my favourite picture. It was an extremely tough decision and you fought off very tough competition. But, I can't deny how much I love this!
The 'Jug of Tea' wins!!!!
All the best.
Tony
