Hello folks sorry for my continued absence of late, been a catalogue of problems, telephone line went down due to the severe weather, I'm with Talk Talk so down went the internet too. Then I have had a pile of jobs to catch up with, then found out I was typing the longest word in history, yes the spacebar on my keyboard packed up and you try get a Mac compatible keyboard in a hurry. Well just back from a mad drive about town again and have a new one at last.
This one is another of my editorial shots regarding the topic of Global Warming. This time around I have presented the problem the wildlife faces such as the Polar Bears where there natural habitat is literally melting before their eyes. Thanks to Paulcr for the idea.

Thanks Chant, Susie, Angie, Laura and Jennie. The bear was photographed in a zoo and as always they do look sad unfortunatly.
Epic work Victor, and many congratulations on a very well deserved HC. This has been a most interesting series to view as it has developed.

Hi Victor
Well it doesn't just rain, it pours as they say. Glad you have sorted out the computer hassles. One I can to relate to of late. Hope you are keeping well otherwise. This image has great impact and brings the message right across. Its a frightening subject and one thats desperately needs addressing. This is super work as always Victor and that bear really makes my heart sore. They should be happy about in the wild.. Nice one! Love... Tess xx
This was happening this fall on Hudson's bay Canada. They went the entire month of Decemer with only a few nights below freezing. Only now is ice forming. I don't know what the bears will do since they need to get way out to sea on solid ice to hunt for seals and the like. I could see another version with a smaller bear and more open water. The effect may not be as artistic but it would be more dramatic and drive home a stronger point I think. Awesome artwork for sure.
