Wow! Stunning shot, love everything about it!
You will have to explain the butterfly picture to me Victor!.
One to get the mind working , you are very imaginative ! Marvellous ! Bill
This is classic MIB great work!
I always think those butterfly pictures are beautiful but sad so it fits really well into the rest of the image. Lots to think about here Victor. The light and shadows are superb.
Hope you're doing OK.
Fantastic work - love it!
Powerful and emotive imagery; the butterflies pinned just as the spirit is trapped. And yet there is a real haunting beauty, too, with the light among the soft jade green. Thought-provoking.
Another stunning image from you. Sorry I haven't been on line much recently but have been very busy. I was looking at the new Sigma sd14 to be released in March - what do u think about this. Have you looked at the spec etc.
nice to see the return of the butterflys another powerful piece Victor
This is a really well done and emotional expression of the works of the mind. Excellent dreamscape.

Surreal yet real, fantastic shadow and light,as the butterflies are trapped on the wall so is the person trapped inside and facing the wall.Let the butterflies free and let them have hope, life, beauty and colour.

Well deserved RC and HC Victor. Scary beyond words but also calming in a strange way, reminded me of nightmares i used to have as a young man. Class presentation.
Had to be yours!
Well deserved HC and RC, Victor. Inspirational image.
A Brilliant conception detail tones and thoughts, Congratulations on your H C Victor.
Best Wishes Pauline.
well deserved The HC masterpiece in Art and opening the viewer to psycho analysis the piece..
from the Tags l would say the butterfly is symbolic of the cause of the depression, nightmare and isolation, in relation, human fragility, and the human element is a comparison to the life circle of the butterfly.. emotional coldness, uncaring.not understanding/ or feelings of compassion... l see so much in this piece.
its very provoking and the mood is depressing..!!!
brilliant the colour with clouds the revolving of mood & thought. The butterfly picture, for me depict the trapped box that society confins us all in. The need to escape is so well defined with the pose of the figure. Living in a box....
Thank you all very much. Cheers Pete, appriciated.
I was going to give an idea of my thoughts behind this one but there is several comments that are not that far of the mark and sometimes its best to take out of something what YOU want and not what I perhaps intended.
The main purpose with all these images is to make you think, all to often we go through life with out eyes shut and see nothing, but with me its only when I shut my eyes that so many things become come into focusm wither I like them or not!!!!
The colors remind me of the sea and somehow I keep thinking of the movie the cube.
You have a very rare talent in your photography Victor, the butterflys are hope and freedom from what ever pocesses the mind, I have confusion, you have these remarkable images.
Vic this is so deep as this is how i've been feeling the past few weeks but more like in a crowd i could feel alone or wieght of the world dragging me down! Vic hope all is going great and the new year so far finds you and the family safe!
Luv to you from us here across the pond!
Congrats...this is stunning. If I get an image in my head during a dream or just a daydream I'm never able to convert them to real images. Hope I'll be able to do something like this one day.
oh, this is so very good! superbly done!
oh so cool as usual,
I just don't know how you do it.
No lengthy critique this time my friend, because -
"I am that man".
I stand in awe of your Artistic skill and freedom of expression. You are an inspiration to us all.
Take good care of yourself and the family.
Ken a big thank you from the heart
Strong conceptual image as we are accustomed to seeing from you. Beautifully done.
Very powerful image that scares me quite a bit this one.....the isolated, claustrophobic feel to it.
Amazing work as always.
Cheers Alison and Paul
I almost missed this one. And again I am amazed that the creativity shown here. And then to execute the vision so well shows lots of depth of though and skill. Yes, this one feels very claustrophobic and isolated, as Ali said.
victor you have a reservoir of creative ideas that create richly thought provoking well constructed images that never fail to please. another fine piece.
Thanks so much Gerry for the kind words
u used 3d max?
No, on this occassion all the work was done in Photoshop. I often use Bryce or Carrara thats about as much as I can get my head around 3d software.
He is the butterfly.
Images are created as much by the eyes of spectators as by the eyes of the photographer. Very good composition. Strange atmosphere.
This is another masterpiece. The image says more than any words I could offer.
