I always think those butterfly pictures are beautiful but sad so it fits really well into the rest of the image. Lots to think about here Victor. The light and shadows are superb.
Hope you're doing OK.

Powerful and emotive imagery; the butterflies pinned just as the spirit is trapped. And yet there is a real haunting beauty, too, with the light among the soft jade green. Thought-provoking.

Hi Victor,
Surreal yet real, fantastic shadow and light,as the butterflies are trapped on the wall so is the person trapped inside and facing the wall.Let the butterflies free and let them have hope, life, beauty and colour.
An amazing HC award Victor,so well done and deserved.

A Brilliant conception detail tones and thoughts, Congratulations on your H C Victor.
Best Wishes Pauline.

well deserved The HC masterpiece in Art and opening the viewer to psycho analysis the piece..
from the Tags l would say the butterfly is symbolic of the cause of the depression, nightmare and isolation, in relation, human fragility, and the human element is a comparison to the life circle of the butterfly.. emotional coldness, uncaring.not understanding/ or feelings of compassion... l see so much in this piece.

its very provoking and the mood is depressing..!!!

brilliant the colour with clouds the revolving of mood & thought. The butterfly picture, for me depict the trapped box that society confins us all in. The need to escape is so well defined with the pose of the figure. Living in a box....

Thank you all very much. Cheers Pete, appriciated.
I was going to give an idea of my thoughts behind this one but there is several comments that are not that far of the mark and sometimes its best to take out of something what YOU want and not what I perhaps intended.
The main purpose with all these images is to make you think, all to often we go through life with out eyes shut and see nothing, but with me its only when I shut my eyes that so many things become come into focusm wither I like them or not!!!!

Very powerful image that scares me quite a bit this one.....the isolated, claustrophobic feel to it.

Amazing work as always.

I almost missed this one. And again I am amazed that the creativity shown here. And then to execute the vision so well shows lots of depth of though and skill. Yes, this one feels very claustrophobic and isolated, as Ali said.

u used 3d max?

No, on this occassion all the work was done in Photoshop. I often use Bryce or Carrara thats about as much as I can get my head around 3d software.
Cheers

He is the butterfly.
Images are created as much by the eyes of spectators as by the eyes of the photographer. Very good composition. Strange atmosphere.
