I really like this, very mystical feel to it and the toning is perfect for it.

Excellent imagination and excellent manipulation!!

tiny, tiny, incy, wincy, ickle niggle, my opinion only, i worry that the bottom part of the shadow, on the flat rock, should be a little bit more diffuse, as the natural light in the landscape pic is not so direct. Apologies for the comment, especially as i can not do this!!

Great setting for this. May be worth toning down the highlights in the water to the middle. Unless, of course, you were after the white appearance.

Off on business now and thanks Pete. On looking at it again I could have toned down the water highlights a touch, quite right. Did not want the mermaid to be that obvious on first viewing.

Cheers victor

morning Victor, pesky Sirens! I would keep the water highlights as it does draw the eye there first, if they were toned down the image would have a different impact

Just back and WOW! thanks folks. Must apologize for lack of comments yesterday was just stunned at the loss of my hero BCC. Dose anyone know where hhere is anymore details?

The Siren was very obliging with this pose and the setting was from the River Niagara, Canadian side.

K. look forward to your mermaid especially if you are using the model Pete and yourself were photographing last weekend. Of course you could do it yourself !!!!
