Hi Folks, this is a rather magnificent creater taken at Toronto Zoo. Not that keen on animals behind cages but I have to admit they do a wonderful job compared to other zoo's, each animal has plenty of room and there environment is kept very clean. There breeding and conservation programme is also first class.
Thanks victor

Good colours and pose and very well presented, Victor
cheers, Paul
Beautiful shot, well presented (tho I'm not keen on the "officey" type posters). It really is a cracking shot, the background is very complementary.
magnificent creature brought to life wonderfully in your image.
the DOF is excellent.
Stunning! Such a beautiful shot, love the stance of the tiger, great colours and fantastic presentation.

absolutely stunning image - if you hadn't mentioned it was one looked after by man in a conservation zoo i would most definitely have belived this was on location in africa or somewhere similar.
tigers are so perfect for photography with their wonderful colours, pattern and textures. i like the colour of the backround on this one, goes very well with the tiger.
nicely presented to, looks just like a poster bought from a shop.
keep up the great work =)
Nearly didn't open it, cos I feel the same way...but yes, I go too :-I
and it is an excellent image.
Fab capture (sorry), lovely golden tones and detail, and he does look a happy chappie.
Nice to see you back, Victor. Was hoping you'd come to the Crete meet, too busy I guess?
Thanks folks, Patricia, one day, Cheers Phil and Martin my only advice is patience and try get to them just before feeding time as they are quite alert and like most other animals in the zoo they tend to have a good idea of feeding time. Mid day is a no no as they are very lazy and spend most of the time sleeping in the shade. To be honest first things in the morning before the crowds start gives you the best opportunity to get a good angle without to many onlookers distracting them. Hope this helps.
Cheers Victor
Beautiful shot ...Colours and tones look spot on...
Well done on the RC...![]()

I adore cats Victor, the larger the better, I have an affinity for them, even the nervous ones often come to me, so you can imagine how I like this chappie. Hard to imagine a better image and the whole comes together so well, background and border, your titling always seems to blend so well too, with any image you post...a cracking shot, from a cracking lens...man!
Cheers...Leo
Cheers Leo, not to fond of the smalll variey but the big tigers are up there with my favs. Thanks
