Kill The Arcade
Problem is simply that sky is far too much brighter than your subject, and the camera just cannot handle it correctly.One way of getting better exposed skies, which works for me:
-Make a fully manual exposure for the sky (to your liking)
-Use an external flash for fill in flash of the subject(s). You might have to adjust flash output manually for the best results.
I used such a technique in my last upload
