I'm sorry but I don't agree with either of the two comments above. Whilst the contrast between orange of the leaves and the green is a good thing, for me this image is way too oversaturated. I think bringing down the saturation would improve the image and make it much more realistic looking. Also the tree trunks have a green tinge to them and if I am right they are silver birch and not green at all.
Also I think that a busy image like this needs a point of focus like a tree stump in the forground etc to give the viewers eyes somewhere to start.
I'm sorry to be so negative but this is the critique section and we only learn by critiquing other's images and having our own critiqued back. I hope that I have helped and not upset you.

Agree with DaveS, exaggerated color works well in some situations
but this appears to be a very breezy day giving the leaves an 'inkblot'
effect. My crop is similar but cut out left side because nothing much in it to keep (ideally would have liked to keep the lay of the land-landscape) and some of the canopy.
On a plus this image should work very well with an artistic effect say
pointillism or pastel.
Thanks for all comments and advice especially re. point of focus. I have upped the saturation in the image and maybe over cooked it, but I do tend to prefer a well saturated image as opposed to,if you like, a more realistic one, obviously this will not be to all tastes but as we are at two all with opinions it seems 50/50. Thanks again to all.
