Sticking with the floral theme for this one and of course with the ubiquitous poppy theme. Tried to separate just one flower against the field of poppies and quite pleased with the result.

Thanks as always for any clicks or comments you might chose to leave. All are much appreciated.

Nick

The slight tone difference in the poppy works well against the background, nice warm feeling.

Love the back light on the stem and the separation of the poppy from the red b/g.
Mary

Lovely colour ,like the detail on the stem and the light just touching the petals ,clear BG too.

Love this one Nick. You have successfully achieved what you set out to do. I've uploaded three over the last three days but they're not a patch on this one

You achieved your aim in singling out the one flower, I like the lighting and the background. The whole pictures is completely different to any other poppy shot I've seen Nick and for that I applaud you Smile

A cracking capture, Nick. Makes for a different and more interesting image having so much red in the background as opposed to more green with other poppies out of focus.
TrevB Smile

Isolated it is...well achieved balancing the tonage of the reds......!!!

Hope you didnt get to high in those poppy fields... !!!

love the limited colour pallett - you have the poppy placed really well = this is the sort of image you could see selling well as a really larg canvas in Ikea for example.
