This is a re-enactment of a 18th century farm house,
defiantly not enough room too swing a cat, I could not get any further back as my camera was against the wall almost in the doorway, and yes that is the bed in the corner next to to fire place / cooking area.
Nothing done to the image just a little crop. Smile

Nice atmosphere to this Vicster! You've kept the detail in the shadow areas too....not easy to do.

A fantastic image that perfectly captures what life must have been like in that time period. No glowing hypnotic screens or cell phones and certainly very little that could be described as multitasking. Less convenience and no instant entertainment of course, but the pleasure of a warm fire and a place to safely sleep on a cold night should never be underestimated.

no need for hdr here Vic. i think it would lose the lovely atmosphere that the shadows add. you have done really well here with a complex and tricky shot.
