Nice image - well composed. We had 15 of the these dam things in our garden this morning eating all the bird food. Since sports like shooting fell into decline, birds like this are taking over.

However, I like this - did you use a monopod or tripod - it's commendably sharp at 1/60 sec.

Thanks for the comments Paul.

This was actually hand held while up a set of 6' step ladders - the bird was on the nest.

Until the recent demise of one of our 2 Siamese cats we were able to keep some control over numbers. The cats worked as a team and would take out pigeons, rats and squirrels very efficiently. Unfortunately our one remaining cat struggles on his own!
