A photo taken from a series I produced for my college project "decay". Just playing around with interesting angles and depth of field...
Lighting set up was some desk lamps with a white paper background. Not really done much of this before...not sure how it will go down on here...
comments and improvements always welcome.
Please view large...I think it makes a difference with this one! Thankyou for looking ![]()

It wont get clicks on here to be honest (hope Im wrong though).
Put some up for crit, you will get a good honest answer usually for off the beat type images.
SAYING that, its a good image and shows you controlled the DOF and lighting to get a good solid image.
Pleasure to click.

Thank you all, wasn't sure what the reaction would be from the EPZ crew but I am pleasantly surprised!
I began by being mystified but was quickly very impressed. With the curve and the articulations it could have been a carbonised croissant, or more likely a scorpion poised to strike. Open the thumb and see what your imagination has done. Open large and see how good the textures and the shallow depth of field are. More impressed now than a few moments ago. Adding it to my favourites for lengthier consideration!

Wow, thank you Bill and Leon, I hadn't seen the carbonised croissant until now! It is so interesting what different imaginations make of a single image...
I don't have a hope of matching Bill's creative observations Rachel, but i can admit to being curious about the thumbnail, attracted to the normal image and really enjoying the large version. I will return - keep up the excellent work!
