A lovely layered comp and a good choice to exclude the sky when there is this much going on in the landscape. The church is well positioned and highlighted by the sunshine. Being slightly critical, the contrast is pushed a lot and certainly too much for my taste as the image now appears unnatural. Of course that may be the feel you were going for and it's a personal thing as I say but I'd love to see a toned down version too Smile

You're right, almiles, it was pushed a lot..... Wink in my defence, I was driving, and the light/contrast was strong and stunning, but by the time I got stopped and the camera out it had paled to a ghost of it's former glory and I had to increase the contrast to take it back to what I saw in the first place...Have a few versions, they each bring a different mood Smile and this is the most pushed....and I like them all. But I take the point nonetheless, always open to constructive crit.... Smile

I agree that the contrast is pushed a lot, but I don't think it detracts any from the end result which is, in my opinion, wonderful. Landscapes are hard, and this is a shining example of a successful one. Love it.
