It was, your directions were spot on, Dougie, thanks Smile Spent a happy hour or so, but made the mistake of driving down the glen instead of just staying and seeing the sunset down. Trying to cover too much ground in one trip, and didn't get anything else anyway! All decent shots were at the loch. Won't do that again... Grin
On our way back the fires were raging over the hill to the left (looking from the road) toward the lochan. Don't know where it stopped.
