I saw these deer in this field a couple of times but never had my big lens with me. So I made a point of taking it with me next time, and waiting around for them to show their faces. Luckily I didn't have to wait too long, just a shame they were not a bit closer or I didnt have a bigger zoom to save cropping the image so much.

What a beautiful capture. I caught 2 deer at the side of the road 2 nights ago, they were dazzled by my headlights and didn't move even though I slowed right down, I didn't even have a camera with me Sad. Moira

A wonderful wildlife image, I often see roe deer in fields close to home but have yet to catch one on camera
